Atlanta, GA – The United States of America Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (USACUSA), led by President Danny Khan, proudly hosted a three-day TV umpiring training event from October 17 to October 20 in Atlanta. The event gathered over 30 dedicated cricket umpires from across the USA and Canada, all eager to enhance their skills under the expert guidance of renowned Umpire Coach Peter Nero. Over three days, attendees honed their skills in essential areas such as video review, decision-making under pressure, and the intricacies of the Decision Review System (DRS). The interactive format fostered collaboration, with umpires sharing experiences and learning from each other’s insights.
The training concluded with a certification ceremony, recognizing each participant’s dedication and accomplishments. USACUSA’s commitment to elevating umpiring standards was evident, and future training events are already being planned to continue building on this progress.
